These characters are partially from Nancy Liu’s children’s book story, Mr. Otter’s adventure. Mr. Otter was a lonely man working in a big city. One day, he decided to become a teacher in a rural primary school. This one is a commission from a bar owner in Taiwan. It is a animal bar so the owner wanted me to paint animals having a drink at his bar.

Little bit about the artist:
The artist Nancy Liu is living in Melbourne at the moment. She is passionate about watercolour, and she paints mostly native Australian plants and birds. Recently, she started to get more inspired by her everyday life corner. Her home decor and her cats become frequent subjects of her artwork.
